OWNER / LEAD STYLIST
Welcome to IGNA Hair Studio! I’m Ignacio. A native of Guadalajara, México, I moved to Northern Virginia with my family when I was 10 and am proud to call this area my home. And although my mom and sister were in the hair industry, it wasn’t until later in life that I discovered my true passion for hairstyling.
After graduating from high school in Loudoun County, I explored various paths, from working on horse farms to studying auto servicing and business. My journey took a turning point when I started working part-time at the salon where my mom was employed. I was captivated by the atmosphere and the transformative experience that clients had. It opened my eyes to the deeper impact of hairstyling, not just hair, but enhancing confidence and well-being.
This experience inspired me to attend hair school, and I’ve been dedicated to this craft for over ten years now. In 2020, I opened IGNA Hair Studio, and the past few years have been nothing short of incredible. I’m excited for the future, as I aim to expand my studio into a full-fledged salon and eventually establish a hair academy.
Currently, it’s just my brother Edgar and me, but we share big dreams and ambitions. I look forward to meeting each of you and providing an experience that goes beyond hair, one that celebrates our humanity and connection.

JUNIOR STYLIST
Hey, my name is Edgar, and I’m a junior hairstylist at IGNA Hair Studio.
While my roots trace back to the mezcal farms of Jalisco, Loudoun County has been home for my entire life. Before diving into the world of hairstyling, I took care of a horse on a farm, waited tables for a restaurant, and served drinks behind the bar, however nothing has given me as much purpose like working behind the chair.
Coming from a family of hairstylists, (my mom and my siblings) - It has always influenced my life. Their decades of experience has guided me and helped develop my skills and eye for style.
At IGNA Hair Studio, I specialize in both men and women’s hair services from haircuts and blowouts to treatments and color. I take pride in working with clients to create a look that they want and fits their individual needs. Though I’m newly licensed, I bring years of hands on experience as well as a “hunger” to continuously evolve my skills.
When I’m not at the hair studio, you’ll find me pumping iron at the gym, crushing some Korean barbecue with friends, or securing a win on Apex Legends.
